Guinness Six Nations

Briefing

Rugby and Guinness do not have a significant presence in Portugal. Guinness is the main sponsor of the Six Nations Tournament. During the tournament weeks, Guinness wanted to leave a mark in the Portuguese market. So, they approached Leo Burnett Lisbon to solve this. I was a full-time worker there and was lucky enough to have this briefing summoned to me as a designer, art director, and illustrator. Having been a rugby player made the project more pleasant to solve.

Project

Rugby is a sport that, above all, lives on its values. Like Guinness, team spirit and unity are the meaning of life. How can we depict this in a single image? By combining the most iconic element of the brand, the perfect pint, with the most iconic moments of the union in sport. All in one illustration. To all that brings us together, we show what makes Guinness and Rugby such a perfect match.‍
